|If you are an artist ...
NYSCA offers several grant opportunities for artists, but individuals cannot apply directly. Artists must use an eligible nonprofit organization to sponsor their grant requests. Please contact our Individual Artists Program, our Dance Program, or our Architecture + Design Program for information about grant opportunities and sponsorships.
If you are a first-time applicant ...
NYSCA welcomes grant requests from new organizations. There are several steps to take now before you begin the grant application process.
1. Read all the information in the 'About NYSCA grants' link above to see if your organization is eligible to apply and to understand what to expect as you proceed.
2. Read the Program Guidelines to find the program/category that best fits your organization's activities. Contact the program staff for assistance.
3. Apply for a NYSCA organizational account. Click this link to begin.
If you are a new staff member of a NYSCA grantee ...
Your organization has a username and password that will let you log into your NYSCA on-line file. If you cannot locate the login information, click the 'Help' link in the orange section of any NYSCA web page for assistance.
Once you are logged in, you can review and update your organization's profile (Organizational info), view past NYSCA applications and grant history, view the status of any final reports that might be due (or overdue!), etc.
Please read the information in the 'When you get a grant' link to understand the obligations accompanying a NYSCA grant. And, of course, our program staff are here to answer any questions you might have about your current grants.
