Architectural Resources / Physical Access
Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities New York State Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities As the successor agency to the former NYS Commission on Quality of Care for the Mentally Disabled and NYS Office of Advocate for Persons with Disabilities, the CQCAPD serves as an advocate and a resource for individuals of all ages with all types of disabilities. U.S. Access Board The US Access Board sets the recommendations on architectural access guidelines. Their site has the ADA architectural guidelines and notices of proposed changes to the guidelines. There is always a period during which the public may comment on guideline changes. An e-newsletter is also available. |
